Library Furniture

It’s invisible but imperative to providing good user experience. Design is intuitive when users can focus on a task at hand without stopping even for a second. Intuitive designs direct people’s attention to tasks that are important. Years of designing, furnishing and resourcing library spaces gives us a great understanding of how a space can be configured to make it intuitive. Colours, lighting, furnishings can invisibly direct students to what they need to find and where they want to be. A well designed space is both relaxing and pleasant to be in, which in turn makes it motivating and inspiring. Design does not need to be formal, but it creates ownership of the space for the end user. The library is a multi-functional space incorporating individual study with group activities.
